Latest: July 08: The summer term is over so now begins the summer break. Official classes begin on 8th September with another 10-week term, but from 21 July onwards there will be some informal "get-together" classes hosted by Sharon and Frances, starting at 7pm, for those of us who can't do without our bellydancing "fix" on Monday nights! These will be open for beginners and improvers alike. See the "classes" page for more details.

Our next big event is on 15th and 16th November 2008 when Kay Taylor and Christine Emery (a.k.a. HTH Lucretia of Raqsmacabre - I kid you not!) will be our guest teachers and performers. There will also be a drumming workshop with Adam Warne. Come on everyone, note that weekend in your diary NOW! Even if you can't make the workshops, do try to come to the Sunday night Hafla - it's fabulous fun and you are not at all obliged to get up and dance if you don't want to. Beginners - don't wait until you have more "experience", just come and watch and socialise with us, have a look round the bazaar and see what North Norfolk has to offer in terms of belly dance performance! Many thanks to Janai from those of us North Walsham dancers who attended her Norwich-based workshops and hafla with Dondi from the USA. I'm sure we are all agreed Dondi was a spellbinding teacher and a captivating performer, and if you weren't there you missed an enormous treat. Thanks to Janai for her hospitality and a well-organised event.
